Ultram (Tramadol Hydrochloride Oral) is an opioid prescription painkiller drug that is synthetic and non-narcotic, but acts similar to morphine. Even though this is a non-narcotic drug individuals who use or abuse this medication are at risk for developing tolerance to the medication and an addiction. Some of the brand names for Ultram like drugs are Ralivia and Flashdose. Tramadol Hydrochloride is commonly prescribed by doctors and other medical professionals in the treatment of moderate to severe pain and chronic pain.

Some of the side effects of tramadol hydrochloride or Ultram are nausea, vomiting, headaches, constipation, dizziness, and drowsiness. Less commonly reported side effects include itching, sweating, dry mouth, diarrhea, rash, visual disturbances, and vertigo. Some patients who use Ultram prescription painkiller have reported seizures. Ultram use or abuse can lead to both mental and physical dependence or addiction.

Some of the withdrawal symptoms may include insomnia, cold flashes with goose bumps, and involuntary movement of the legs, as well as muscle pain, restlessness, vomiting and diarrhea.
