OxyContin

OxyContin (Oxycodone HCl) is a prescription painkiller painkiller medication that is highly addictive on both a mental and physical level. It is an extremely potent drug that falls into the opioid family of drugs and is normally prescribed by medical professionals in the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It normally comes in a pill form that is taken orally, but those with addictions to this drug have been known to crush the medication in order to achieve a quick high.

Repeated and prolonged use of OxyContin will lead to a physical tolerance for the medication where individuals will need to take a larger dose of the medication in order achieve the same effects as it had on them initially.
